Task
Create oversized postcards advertising a fictional lecture series on iconic Seattle architecture using original imagery and copy, with an emphasis on typographic treatment.
Process
Outcome
First I researched, visited and photographed each of the buildings to be included in the series, drawing on their bold, modern designs to create initial sketches for my postcards. I wanted to ensure that the template I create functioned to highlight the unique style of each of these iconic buildings, while allowing the imagery to speak for itself. I worked through several versions, playing with typefaces and color schemes, before settling on my final design.

I chose clean sans serif fonts, playing with layout and orientation of the type to create structure. A simple color scheme made the design easily adaptable across the series.
